  • 9-11 lbs pickling cucumbers
  • 4 2/3 cups commercial white vinegar (5% acidity)
  • 2 cups water
  • 7 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 pouch Mrs. Wages® Quick Process® Sweet Pickle Mix

  • 1 Boiling-water bath canner with rack
  • 1 Large stainless or enamel preserving pot
  • 1 Canning jars with two-piece lids
  • 1 Headspace and bubble tool

Directions

Canning method
  1. Wash cucumbers and cut into slices. Combine Mrs. Wages® Quick Process® Sweet Pickle Mix, vinegar, water, and sugar in a large non- aluminum pot. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture dissolves. Pack cucumbers in sterilized pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
  2. Evenly pour hot pickling liquid over cucumbers leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Cover and process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
  3. Processing: As published by Mrs. Wages: "process 10 minutes" (boiling water bath canner) - 10 minutes.
